YouTube Parents Who Filmed Allegedly Abusive Videos Face Charges and Possible Jail Time

It was back in April when the family behind the then popular YouTube account DaddyOFive came under fire after posting videos of their kids that some perceived to be abusive in nature.

The videos in question showed the father and stepmother of the family’s kids ‘pranking’ their children.  In one video the parents pour ink onto their youngest son Cody’s bedroom floor and then blame him for making the mess. They swear at him angrily for making the mess and when he denies it, they accuse him of lying. Cody then cries hysterically, along with his brother Alex, who is also being pranked.

Now Heather and Michael Martin are both facing criminal charges and could face up to 10 years in jail for their actions in those videos.

Were these just pranks gone too far, or more?
