You Can Be Charged With A Felony If You Let Your Kids Skip School


I’m one of those crazy moms who thinks perfect attendance is extremely important so much so that I’ll take my kid’s temperature in the car and only moment before I drop him off in the car line at school in the morning. 99.5? Ok, you’re good to go! It’s not that I don’t want to keep my sick child at home, but more often than not, there’s a good chance that my kid doesn’t want to go to school because he’s didn’t go to bed when he was supposed to and wants a mental health day off. Sorry kid, but you’ll get that chance once you enter corporate America.

But for those parents who think children do deserve a mental health day to just relax at home or eat pizza at the mall – you’re in for a shocker. There’s a good chance that as a parent you’ll face felony charges for letting your kid skip school.
