Ah, essential oils. You either love them, sell them, don’t know what they are, or got suckered into buying them and then never used them again.
I fall somewhere in the middle, because I do own and use a handful of essential oils, but am by no means an essential oil junkie, nor would I ever sell them. I became a believer after getting mastitis approximately 50 times (it’s a long story, but basically my boobs are broke and my milk ducts always get clogged, leading to mastitis every other day when I nurse a baby) and becoming immune to antibiotics, a friend send me some citrus oil and I swear to you, it’s the only thing that worked to unclog my ducts and heal the infection. It was crazy cakes. So, yes, I am a believer that essential oils can be medicine and in fact, a lot of medicines are basically essential oils, and as such, they should be treated with caution and used correctly.
And if you don’t believe me, perhaps you will believe this story of a woman who claims essential oils left her with some pretty nasty burns.
