WARNING: Don’t Leave Plastic Water Bottles in Hot Cars!

When you go out for a drive, do you bring snacks, coffee or a bottle of water with you? My kids have a habit of taking bottles of water, having a few sips, and leaving the half-full bottles in the car.

If you’ve left water in a plastic bottle in your car on a hot summer day, you know you shouldn’t drink the water. The plastic which is warmed up in the heat and under the hot sun can make the chemicals of the plastic seep into the water.
