Seriously, can we just give the whole skinny vs. plus-sized debate a rest already?
According to Cosmopolitan, this “plus-size” ad (although I’m having a hard time seeing the “plus” because the model looks so much like me) is making waves. Google Adwords rejected the ad because it was geared towards Gmail users whose inboxed contained words like “curvy” or “plus-sized.” So in other words, Google doesn’t want you seeing an ad of a fuller-shaped (and normal!) looking woman, even though the ad caters to your specific needs. It doesn’t make sense, now does it?!?
