This Mother Is DEMANDING Her Neighbors Pass Out Food Allergy-Friendly Treats On Halloween

Um, controlling much? This is what you call Halloween and overzealous parenting in 2015. I mean, this is just plain crazy, people! According to Reddit, one anonymous parent went the distance by creating a Halloween flyer that reminds people of children with allergies, and to “practice responsible parenting.”

Here’s what it says:

To be honest, I do not have the time nor do I have the energy to worry about everyone’s special dietary needs on Halloween night. You either take my candy or you don’t, but don’t expect me to cooperate with your rules after you litter my neighborhood by telling me what I should and shouldn’t do at MY house.

While I completely understand that having certain allergies sucks and it limits you from enjoying every flavor under the rainbow, there’s no reason to be this obnoxious. The teal pumpkin movement is a much better way to let trick-or-treaters with food allergies know that their candy and snacks are safe to eat.

Plus, as parents, it should be our responsibility to check our children’s candy bags before eating them. Posting signs like the one above is just bad trolling. And back in the day if I went to a house that passed out carrots, there’s a good chance it would later get egged. Am I not right, my friends?
