The Teal Pumpkin Project Makes Halloween Fun For Everyone

Halloween is such a great time of year for kids and parents alike, unless your child is one of the 1 in 13 kids in the US who suffer from a food allergy, then it can be terribly scary and frustrating. Even if you let your child go out trick-or-treating just to get in on the fun, if they have a severe food allergy there’s a good chance they won’t be able to enjoy most of the treats they collect. Thanks to The Teal Pumpkin Project and their mission to make Halloween safe and fun for everyone, kids with food allergies can now enjoy Halloween too!

The Teal Pumpking Project is an initiative that began last year by the Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) organization to make Halloween fun and safe for everyone. All you have to do is take the pledge and commit to providing non-food treats for trick-or-treaters this Halloween.

You can show your support for the initiative by placing a teal pumpkin on your front porch to let trick-or-treaters know that your house will have non-food treats available for those with food allergies.
