Thanksgiving Inspired Hanukkah Recipes!
For the first time in almost 100 years, Thanksgiving and Hanukkah will overlap. This has only happened three times before and will not happen again until 2070.

Sufganiyot with Cranberry Jam (image above)
Sufganiyot—jelly doughnuts—are synonymous with Chanukah. Try filling them with this easy, homemade cranberry jam for a seasonal twist.
- 4 ½ tsp. dry yeast
- ¼ cup warm water
- 1 ½ cups soy or almond milk
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 6 tbsp. margarine, melted
- 6+ cups flour
- Oil for frying
- Confectioners’ sugar for dusting
Cranberry Jam Ingredients:
- 6 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- Place yeast, warm water and 1 tsp. sugar in bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes until bubbled.
