This Tattoo That Every Influencer Has Is Making Every Tattoo Artist Roll Their Eyes

Don't do it.

Gone are the days where seeing someone with a tattoo is a rare thing. They’re everywhere now and people from all walks of life sport artwork on their skin. There are people who are covered in tattoos, some who have a hidden tiny one some where on their body. Some people have tattoos and when you find that out ti’s surprising. I have a whole lot of them myself, including nearly my whole back done, and they can be very addictive. It’s hard to know what kind of tattoo to get, but if you’re on the fence about this popular one, tattoo artists will likely persuade you other wise.

There are a lot of reasons someone decides to get a tattoo. For me, mine are all personal and hold a meaning. Each tattoo of mine is related to something that’s happened in my life or something I hold close and want with me always. Tattoos can be very emotional, very healing, and can be very fashionable, too. I like tattoos hidden, visible, or anywhere it looks classy. I would love the idea of getting more on myself some day, but once I do, I will be venturing into the more visible body parts and that for me is tough for a few reasons. The biggest is tattoos on areas that see the sun often don’t last as long before fading.

And that’s where the latest tattoo phase has tattoo artists rolling their eyes. One of the most popular places to get a cute little tattoo — whether you’re getting your first or your 6th — is in a spot that artists are so over.

It just happens to be really popular with social media influencers right now. And it’s surprising how much they drive trends. This one can end now, if you ask a tattoo artist.
