The time is here for me to share my story with you. To share Brendan’s story. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’m so incredibly proud of Brendan. This little boy has taught me so much about courage, love and perseverance. There are no words to say how proud I am to be his mom 💕 ————————————————- Our story is featured exclusively with @peoplemag and will be on the stands this Monday. You can get a sneak peek of the story at people.com using the link in my profile.
Being a parent is never easy. We try so hard to take each day as they come and pray our children are safe and have perfect health. But, that is not the way the world works and sometimes we just don’t understand why bad things happen to good people!
I can only imagine how hard it was when Liza Huber was told her son Brendan had cerebral palsy in 2010, she tells PEOPLE ” Just froze. I broke down in tears, I felt sadness that he would deal with cerebral palsy for the rest of his life, but I also felt gratitude that he could walk. Many others cannot.”
Liza is the daughter of Susan Lucci, a soap opera legend who exclusively reveals the courageous story of her 7-year-old son, Brendan, in this week’s issue of PEOPLE.
