Sister Wives star Meri Brown is one very persistent woman. If she wants something, you can bet your bottom dollar that she is going to get it, one way or another. That’s why with the help of her husband Kody Brown, she managed to open up her own bed and breakfast in the state of Utah.
Now, as I’m sure many people know, the Sisters Wives family have a very complicated situation in Utah right now. Utah prohibits people from practicing polygamy (Kody Brown has four wives and 18 children if you’ve been having a hard time keeping up). Kody believes his polygamist arrangement is legal because he is legally married only to one woman, and the other marriages are spiritual unions. Utah, of course, doesn’t it see it this way.
Still, Meri knows that she belongs in Utah, one way or another. After all, it’s the only home she’s ever known before her family was forced to move outside of Las Vegas. Determined to get her foot back inside state lines, she decided to open up a Bed and Breakfast that was once owned by her family. Living in one state and working in another won’t be easy for Meri, though.
