Every day, we help our kids pack up their lunches and backpacks, and send them off to school. We give them a hug and kiss, and wish them a good day of learning ahead.
As parents, we put our trust and faith in our teachers to care for and guide our children. If our children misbehave, we expect some form of discipline – for example, staying in from a recess, or a phone call home.
But we don’t expect our teachers to ever lay a finger on our kids in a forceful way.
