Princess Kate Opens up About Feeling ‘Isolated’ as a New Mom

I’m British and old enough to remember the 1990s when Princess Diana and Prince Charles were splitting up and all of the gossip about the breakdown of their relationship was being leaked to the press. In the end the Princess of Wales was very candid about their marriage ultimately telling all in a BBC interview about the adultery they both committed and her struggle with bulimia.

I cannot overemphasize how unusual this was for a royal to be so open about their feelings. It now seems that her sons and her daughter-in-law are following in her footsteps. Princess Kate in particular is being extremely open about her struggles as a new mom.
