We all dread the call from school to come and pick up our little one because they are running a fever and not feeling well. Everything you are doing or about to do is put on the back burner, as you have to attend to a cranky baby. Every parent wishes they could take the sickness unto themselves instead of seeing the little ones suffer.
While we cannot take a disease on for anyone, we can, however, do something much more powerful. Did you ever wonder when the flu season arrives why some children in school don’t get infected? The answer is simple. Staying healthy depends on how strong you keep your army. The army I am speaking about is your immune system. We all have one…several trillion immune cells acting like microscopic solders ready to go into a battle for us. However, if your army is tired, sick and toxic they cannot fight on our behalf. Your immunity is low and the invading bacteria claims its victory.
