One School Won’t Allow Kids to Make Mother’s and Father’s Day Gifts

It’s that time of the year again, when Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations take place in May and June.

I know that for some children and kids alike, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day can stir up various emotions. If kids have lost a parent, or even an adult losing one of theirs, these holidays can be especially painful.

Now, discussion has been sparked over a letter received by some parents in the Mission School District in British Columbia, Canada.
