People Are Mixing Paint On Instagram And It Is Insanely Calming

Relatives stressing you out? This will help.

There is so much stress going around this time of year. It’s strange because it should be a time of reflection and enjoying the company of family. But for so many people, that’s not really the case. We’re often worrying about how to get all the shopping done. Figuring out the whole finances of it all. Worrying about arguments that are going to creep up between family members. It’s hard at times to make the magic happen and keep your cool. Which is why methods of self-calming is important. People are turning to mixing paint videos to help just that.

With social media there seems to be trends for what kind of short videos pop up and become viral. We’ve seen a lot of strange type of videos grabbing the attention of everyone. There was a time all people wanted to watch were videos of things getting squished from industrial machines.

People find a sense of calm and a sense of de-stressing from watching this type of stuff. I have no idea who the first person was to put up a video on Instagram of them mixing paint to get a specific color. But, they’ve grown because people who aren’t watching for technique are tuning in.

As I was researching different mixing paint videos to make this round up, I slowly started to realize what the hype was. It’s surprisingly calming. You zone right in and I can’t deny it is pretty calming.
