When it comes to parenting, there seem to be no way that everyone can agree on something. We can’t even agree that we’re never going to agree and we’re all just here trying to do our best. That’s where the whole mommy wars and santimommies thing was born. For some reason, moms are hard on each other. I don’t know if we feel like we’re competing? Maybe we’re all insecure because no one tell any of us that we’re going a good job? Even celebrities like Beyonce or Mila Kunis feel this pressure and it’s ridiculous.
Has it always been this way? Have moms always been this hard on each other? It’s so easy to throw our judgement onto something now that we’re all connected to each other and there is the whole social media thing. Back in the day people couldn’t just leave a comment for a super famous person, giving their opinion on their life. But that’s what we can do now.
And it has to be hard for those who are really famous. Because everyone feels like they can comment on it. And people do, relentlessly. Most recently, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are fielding insults over their parenting after Ashton expressed how much one product helped one of his kids.
