McDonald’s Is Taking Two Longtime Favorite Items Off The Happy Meal Menu

What will my kids eat?!

Parents know that getting your kids to eat a healthy, balanced meal is in their best interest. We all strive to give our kids the perfect nutrition full of whole foods that feed their body. But parents know that the struggle to get your kids to eat all that goodness is stronger than your desire sometimes to give them only the best. Add to that a busy schedule and things that go sideways no matter how much perfect planning you do. And that’s why takeout or fast food places like McDonald’s is not always a bad thing. They are there in a pinch when you need to feed your child something. Often aren’t that expensive and… well, it’s tasty.

Parents know that when they’re getting their child McDonald’s it’s not the healthiest thing out there. Sometimes you just want it yourself. Others you just want your child to eat something or you’re trying to bribe them and a happy meal will get them to do what you need.

It’s not all bad. But it’s not the best option. But McDonald’s is trying to make even the not-the-best meal a little bit less bad. And in doing so, they’re taking away two items from their happy meal menu that kids love.

Is McDonald’s messing with a good thing and creating more problems or is this change a good idea?
