This Mom’s Car Was Stolen With Her Baby and Toddler Still Inside

If you’re a parent of kids who are still young enough to get buckled in a car seat, you know the struggle is real when it comes to constantly buckling them in and out of their seats. I gauge my life in terms of how many carseat in and outs I have to complete on a certain day. My max is about 10 and if we’re out of toilet paper and milk and I hit my limit, well, too bad, so sad, children.

But seriously. It can be so, so hard to constantly drag kids out of car seats. I have four kids and I get anxiety just thinking about the work of buckling them in and out. Add in cold weather, the fact that you’re not supposed to let kids wear coats in car seats, and your own exhaustion and the whole thing just feels overwhelming.

But on recent story out of Michigan is a good reminder to any parent that danger is lurking everywhere.
