Kristin Cavallari Gets Her Husband To Massage Her Feet To Try To Induce Labor

When your due date starts to approach many of us will try just about anything to induce labor. There’s so many old wives tales out there about things that you can do to help that labor process along, like drinking castor oil (I’d rather stay pregnant) eating spicy food, having lots of sex and going for long walks. For Kristin Cavallari, who is married to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, she’s going with the foot massage method!

Apparently there are pressure points in your feet that when massaged can induce labor, and at this point Kristin is willing to try anything! The former ‘Laguna Beach’ and ‘Hills’ alum is pregnant with her 3rd child and posted a photo to her instagram page showing her husband dutifuly rubbing her feet with the caption ‘Let’s see if these trigger points really work’.

The author and designer, who’s due ‘any day now’ also posted a picture of her bump with a bowl of ice cream sitting atop it with the caption ‘Story of my life this past week’.

I can certainy relate to Kristin here! While my first child was born on her due date (not induced either!) my second two were both 11 days late! Kristin is clearly excited to meet her new daughter, who will join the couples other two children Camden, 3 and Jaxon, 18 months.

While I was willing to try many different methods of self inducement, but it really didn’t work for me. Did you try anything at home to try to ‘encourage’ labor to start? Share it in the comments!
