Kevin Hart Faces Backlash Again After Saying Diaper Duty Is For Mothers Only

Oh nope... he did go there.

Welcoming a new baby into the world does change a relationship, and more than that, too. It’s hard work if you’re the mom to heal from birth. And that’s really the least of the issues. You have to learn what all their cries mean — and not lose you’re cool because crying happens a lot. There is getting used to all kinds of new things: bottles, breastfeeding, cradles, baby carriers—and diapers. It’s hard for everyone, even celebrities like Kevin Hart.

When you bring a new baby into a relationship there is a division of duties that has to be negotiated. Sometimes those divides flux, depending on baby’s needs. Sometimes they flux depending on schedule. But it’s important to have a discussion around it so no one feels like they’re carrying the brunt.

That means talking about who is going to make sure you have enough diapers and/or formula in the house. Who is going to take the next night shift when baby starts crying. And you have to discuss diaper duty. And that is exactly were comedian Kevin Hart got into trouble.

The actor revealed in an interview that he is not doing diaper duty — certainly not yet — and people went off.
