Woman Copied and Stole Photos of Babies Claiming They Were Dead to Get Cash

The joy of welcoming a new baby is such a special time in a parent’s life. Sharing photos on Facebook, Instagram and other social media is often the norm nowadays, where parents can show off their bundle of joy. It’s also a way to share photos of the new babe with friends and family members who live far away.

With so many people online, not all social media accounts and images are set to private; they are made public, because you’d think – why would anyone want to use a photo of my baby?

But it happens – more often used in blog posts, and sometimes even in a brand’s marketing campaign.

You’d never think it could happen to you that those photos are being used for something more sinister.
