I have eczema. It’s fairly mild these days – unless I’m stressed. But when I was a little girl it was very bad. The rash could leave my hands swollen, crusty, with deep cracks in my skin, which were almost like someone had sliced a knife through it. Kids are cruel. I remember being 6-years-old having to walk two-by-two on a school day trip and a classmate refusing to hold my “monster” hands.
You would think that by the time someone hit their teens – and certainly adulthood – they would be a little more sensitive, if not more knowledgeable about skin conditions. Jenelle Evans learned the hard way that is not always the case.
