Popular Teething Products Recalled After Being Linked to Children’s Deaths

Last fall, the FDA started warning parents against using homeopathic teething tablets and gels last year, and one popular brand that many parents are familiar with announced in October that they would stop distributing the products in the United States.

That means, however, that some products still remain available for purchase in stores, even though the official distribution by the company may have ended. That is about to changed, though, as the FDA has announced an immediate recall for this brand of homeopathic teething tablets and gels after discovering that the company has been seriously mislabeling one dangerous ingredient in the products.

The teething products were linked to 10 children’s deaths last year and now, the FDA has had enough.
