High School Refuses to Acknowledge Dead Student Because They Want the Day to Be ‘Happy’

High school graduation is a celebratory time for everyone involved. It’s a chance for students to be honored for their hard work, and to celebrate that momentous moment with their family and close friends.

Family and friends of one high school student who was tragically killed last year before getting her chance to don her cap and gown are now fighting to have her name included during her school’s graduation ceremony, but the school is refusing.
