The day before Christmas I was one very happy mama. And not just because it was almost Christmas, but because I could put that stinkin’ Elf in the Shelf back where it belonged and that’s deep in my storage closet. You don’t know how many times my husband and I stressed out about the Elf on the Shelf pretending to wreak havoc in our house.
And because someone out there hates me, you’ve also got the Elf on the Shelf birthday edition, ‘Scout Elf Return Week,’ and so many more ridiculous ideas that force me to set my alarm on as a reminder every night before I go to bed. And for St. Patrick’s Day, it’s no different. Not only do I have to find green slime and marshmallows to dump into my toilet, but apparently I’m also being asked to help my kids make a Leprechaun Trap. FML, people.
And what are Leprechaun traps, you ask? A whole lot of work, in a nut shell.
