Hanukkah Craft For The Kids

Looking for a fun way to involve the kids in the holiday festivities.  Here’s a simple craft for Hanukkah, and a special way to celebrate the festival of lights!

Star of David Staircase

Create the Star of David with painted blue Popsicle sticks (make 8 for the 8 nights of Hanukkah) and hang each from the banister railing of your stairway.  In honor of the “Festival of Lights” string little blue Hanukkah Lights with  CommandClear Decorator Clips down the banister to enhance the look.

To make the stars:

  1. Create 2 triangles from Popsicle sticks by gluing the tips of the sticks together – requires 6 Popsicle sticks for each star)
  2. Glue the 2 triangles together to form a 6-pointed star.
  3. Once the glue has hardened, paint the star blue.
  4. When the paint is dry, tie a silver ribbon to it to form a loop and hang it from  Command Clear Mini Hooks.
