Our very own lactation stations are here!
Say what you will, but I wasn’t a very outgoing mom while I was still breastfeeding my children. In fact, I can tell you that I would breastfeed my babies in the back of my minivan before going somewhere like the mall or a restaurant because it’s something I simply didn't feel comfortable doing in public. While I know it’s important to breastfeed your baby when he or she is hungry, I simply didn’t have enough confidence in me to whip out a boob in broad daylight. If a bottle-fed baby can have her dinner in public, why shouldn’t a breastfed baby have the same rights? I have certainly never seen a public restroom that I would like to feed my baby in! And I’m certainly not going to stay home all the time because I’m afraid that my baby will get hungry while we’re gone. Luckily there are new Mamava breastfeeding pods that allow mothers to nurse in private while they travel. Sounds brilliant, doesn’t it? Photo Credit: Mamava/Instagram
