The American Academy of Pediatrics released a small study regarding the safety of several very popular "first finger foods" and there are some red alerts.
Today reports that only two of nine products tested met AAP safety guidelines. Choking is the leading cause of death in children under 4, so it's very important that foods parents trust and that are marketed as baby's first finger foods are safe.
