Are we unknowingly contributing to our child's anxiety?
As parents we only want to do what’s right for our children. We do our best to make sure we’re comforting them when they need us and that we’re a firm hand when they need that too, but it’s hard to know if we’re actually being helpful to them when they need us or if we may be causing them more anxiety than they already have.
The last thing we want to do is set unrealistic expectations of our kids, so what’s a parent to do, or rather, not do to help our kids cope with their own feelings of anxiousness?
