Science Has Finally Found Something To Help Colicky Babies

At this point, we'll try anything!

Any parent of a newborn who has ever suffered through colic knows that they will literally try anything. It’s hard enough being the parent of a newborn with the sleep deprivation and whole parenting learning curve. Now add in colic and a child who cries non stop. It’s enough to drive any new parent over the edge. Of course they will try anything to get them to stop crying!

Fortunately none of my kids ever suffered from colic, by my nephew did. I give full props to my sister in-law for dealing with that, because it’s hard on a parent. We’ve seen lots of remedies for colic over the years. Some studies suggest that acupuncture is the trick to calming your baby.  Others have suggested going for drives, or infant massage and even simply a warm bath to help alleviate colic.

Any parent who has dealt with a colicky child has tried every trick in the book. Let’s face it, no one wants to sit and listen to their baby cry. Besides being frustrating to listen to, every parent wants to do what they can to make their child happy.

It seems parents of babies with colic may have something new to try to give everyone some relief!
