It’s almost been a year since mother of two Sherri Papini went out for a jog only to seemingly vanish in to thin air and never returned home.
Papini, of Redding, California went missing on November 2, 2016 when she went out for a run at approximately 2pm. After the mom of 2 failed to pick her children up from daycare her husband, Keith Papini, reported her missing to the police.
Just over three weeks later, on Thanksgiving day, Papini was discovered beaten and branded with a chain around her waist by the side of a road after she flagged down a passing motorist.
This is a case that captivated the nation, with many providing differing theories as to what actually happened to the mother of two.
Many were sceptical of the case since details released were minimal, and Papini herself wasn’t able to give a detailed description of her alleged captors since she says their faces were covered during her captivity.
Now the FBI has released sketches of Papini’s suspected abductors in hopes of finding who was responsible for her disappearance.
The FBI is also offering a reward for anyone who has any information that could lead to the identification of the two individuals.
