Family Portraits By This ‘Professional’ Photographer Might Be The Worst Photoshop Of All Time

Honestly, $250 well spent.

Life is amazing. There is so much to be happy about and opening up social media and getting a good giggle out of something is a great way to start off your day. That’s what I got, and thousands of others, when these family portraits started to go viral on Facebook. They are said to be one of the worst Photoshop fails of all time. Done by a professional photographer. A mom shared the final shots to her social media account saying that these are the real deal. I think she’s laying that on there pretty thick because when you get a look at them it is hard to believe that these are not some kind of a joke.

Professional photography is an art form and a skill. Something that not everyone in the world will have the perfect eye for, but those who do have it can have a really solid business out of it. Each photographer has their own gear that they prefer, settings in the camera they feel make their image sing and stand out. And some photographers have a way of touching up the photos, often very subtly, in post production to bring out more of the beauty of the image. Usually without messing with it too much.

And it seems some photographers either don’t know how to use those tools but try with all their might. Or they feel like they can and present their clients with an end product that might not be expected.

And that’s exactly what happened to this family who commissioned family portraits to be done by a local photographer. The images are not what they expected, but my goodness are we glad they exist.
