Derick Dillard Says He Quit ‘Counting On’ Despite TLC Stating They Fired Him

Who do you believe?

If there’s one thing that the Duggars are really good at, it’s saying things without really thinking about it. Even worse they rarely consider other people’s feelings. They’re also very good at keeping themselves in the public eye. Derick Dillard is married to Duggar daughter Jill. Together they share two sons. Lately the father of two has found himself very much at the center of controversy.

Fans of the show and the family have criticized Dillard for everything from his ‘inappropriate’ PDA with his wife, to his hair cut.

In November TLC announced it had cut ties with Derick Dillard. Dillard had posted a series of rather insensitive tweets about fellow TLC and transgender reality television star Jazz Jennings.

It wasn’t the first time that the reality star slammed Jazz on Twitter, proving to be too much for TLC execs. The network reportedly fired Derick from appearing on his wife and her family’s reality show, Counting On.

Derick Dillard claims he wasn’t fired, that he made the decision to leave the show months ago.
