Now this is what you call parenting done right! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: David and Victoria Beckham are two celebrity parents who are definitely doing a great job of raising their four children right. Not only do they work extra hard to make sure that their kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, grow up with their feet firmly grounded on the floor, but they’re also not letting their celebrity status go to their head, either.
Case in point: David recently revealed that both he and Victoria heavily monitor their children’s social media activity so much so that their sons have to ask permission before they post something on Facebook or Instagram. Here’s what he says:
‘I’m constantly on at my son who is 16. He doesn’t post anything [on Instagram] without showing us [first]. He talks to us about everything, so we are very lucky.”
Given all the horrible statistics about online bullying, it’s so refreshing to see parents like David and Victoria talk to their children about the vices that come with social media. Here’s hoping that more parents out there take note.
Tell us Hot Moms, do you monitor your children’s social media accounts?
