It’s without a doubt that a lot of celebrity moms in the entertainment business get plenty of criticism for hitting the gym the moment their baby leaves their womb. Mostly, it’s because of vanity purposes but for Dancing With the Stars Peta Murgatroyd, it’s for work. In fact, a lot of critics couldn’t help but wonder why Peta hit the gym only a few short weeks after she gave birth to her first son Shai back in January. Well it looks like there was a reason for it: she was preparing herself to compete on Dancing With the Stars Season 24, which just debuted this week.
But for Peta, it hasn’t been easy. She even admitted that she doesn’t feel like she’s in top shape and we’re not surprised, too. Many doctors recommend that you get at least six weeks of rest before working out post-partum again. And here’s Peta hitting the dance floor with her partner Nick Viall only two months after she gave birth. And because of this, she feels as though she might be hampering Nick’s chances at winning the mirror ball this season.
So, why exactly is she back so early?
