Couple Who’s ‘Bun In The Oven’ Pregnancy Video Went Viral Release First Photos Of Their Miracle Preemie Baby!

We’ve been following the story of Dana Griffin-Graves ever since she surprised her husband Arkell with the news that she was expecting their first child with a video of a bun in the oven that went viral. The couple had experienced 4 miscarriages and 1 stillbirth in their quest to become parents, so Arkell’s excited response to his wife’s pregnancy announcement warmed our hearts and made us so incredibly happy for the couple.

Unfortunately due to dangerously high blood pressure that doctors feared could kill Dana, she delivered the couple’s son, Kaleb Arkell Graves at just 24 weeks weighing only 13 ounces!  In an interview with 8News, the couple reveal how both Dana and baby Kaleb are doing, and give us our first glimpse at the baby we’ve come to know as ‘baby buns’. When asked how her son, who now weighs one pound 5 ounces was doing, Dana replied “Kaleb, he is doing fantastic.”

“If someone would have told me six weeks ago when I was laying in the hospital bed and I was in the ICU department, that I would be here today, I wouldn’t believe it.”

When little Kaleb was born he had only a five percent chance of survival, but he seems to beating all the odds. Even though his premature birth was scary for both Dana and Arkell, they can’t help but both feel blessed by their son. When asked their son Arkell said “God is good. He’s a miracle. Kaleb is a miracle.”
