Couple Who Believed in Faith Healing Charged After Newborn Dies

Not the First Time

This isn’t the first time members of this Church have found themselves in trouble with the law for their belief in faith healing.

Mitchell’s own sister Shannon Hickman and her husband Dale were convicted of manslaughter back in 2011 after the death of their newborn baby. The couple were sentenced to 6 years in prison.

The church, which has about 1000 members in Oregan and Idaho, believe in faith healing and that if someone dies it’s because it is God’s will.

Thankfully the parent’s sought treatment for their other daughter before it was too late. Tell us your thoughts and don’t forget to SHARE with your friends.
