Breakfast Popsicles!

Getting kids to eat breakfast can be challenging! Try a few different options such as a Breakfast Popsicle.. It is nice and cold and filled with lots of nutrients…

You need a high speed blender ( amount of popsicles depends on size of popsicle holder)

Breakfast Popsicles!

popsicles1. 1 Cup of Yogurt:  vanilla, plain or you can have a fruit flavor ( greek yogurt, coconut yogurt your choice). You may use coconut water or almond milk but for breakfast you will want a little more substance.

2. Cut up your children’s favorite fruit ( cut them thin or for berries smash them up ).  Black berries, strawberries, pineapples, peaches, banana, mango, kiwi etc…  cut them thin

3. 1 cup of granola  or oats

4. 1/4 cup of chia ( you can add a nut instead of this almonds, walnuts, pecans)

5. 2tbs cup of flax seeds

6. 2 tbs of Vanilla if you are using plain yogurt

Instructions: Blend up all ingredients but the fruit in the blender ( you can add fruit if you want it blended). Then yogurt mix into molds and add the fruit down the sides. Place in freezer till they have frozen.
