Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Still At Odds Over Custody Arrangement

The former couple can't agree on a summer schedule with the kids

This is kind of a bummer! When divorced couples can’t find a common ground, it’s always the kids who suffer the most. For the most part, it seems like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been able to strike a balance as co-parents. The end of the marriage was extremely messy, with Brad being investigated by Child Protective Services and getting only “therapeutic” visits with his kids. But that all resolved, and honestly, we haven’t heard much in terms of drama from them since! However, according to an insider, the former couple is once again sparring over the custody arrangement of their six kids.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still hashing out their divorce settlement. This includes the custody arrangement for their six kids. According to an insider, they might have hit a snag.

The couple is reportedly “at odds” over the summer custody arrangements for Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Says the insider, “The latest issue is that Angelina wants to film in Europe for months and take all six kids with her for the duration of the shoot. Brad is opposed to that and is blocking it from happening. Brad will be filming in L.A. for the summer and wants to see the kids on his regular custody schedule.”

That seems reasonable? Obviously, they both have the means to travel back and forth. But wanting to stick to the regular custody schedule seems like it’s in the best interests of everyone.

Angelina Jolie is reportedly not happy about the situation, but Brad Pitt isn’t too pleased with it either. “He’s not OK with his kids being away for months,” the insider says. “He feels that Los Angeles is their home base and this is where it is best for them to be.”

Judging by some of the pictures of both of them with the kids recently, it doesn’t appear as though they’re not allowed to travel! Jolie has taken the kids to Paris and England this year. But short trips are one thing. Moving them across the pond for months at a time is quite another. Here’s hoping they can come to an amicable resolution that puts the kids’ best interests first.
