Why Your Bathroom Towel Is a Filthy Bacteria Breeding Ground

It’s the sort of topic that comes up every now and then – in magazines, within families, between friends. How often do you/ should you do X, Y and Z? So how regularly should you wash your bed linen, bath towels, for example.

It always seems that whenever I read articles about things like this a scientist or housecleaning expert will throw up some peculiar theory or share some disgusting statistic that will make me think twice about what I’m doing at home. Or they’ll throw in some fact that suggests you’re showering too frequently or washing your hair too much. But the latest expert advice that I’ve read makes me want to get rid of all my bath towels and air dry my body like Cuba Gooding Jr. in Jerry Maguire.
