Apple Finally Apologizes For Messing With Our Older iPhone Battery Life

They're offering a MAJOR discount on new batteries.

I am not sure what people did before smart phones — I really don’t. Yes, I’m old enough to know life without them and still remember when I jumped on the bandwagon. But, honestly, I don’t think I’d be able to go back to that. To not always have this little pocket computer with all my information. It tells me the phone number of everyone I need to know. I have all appointments for myself, my partner, and our four kids in there. I work from my iPhone and Apple is the gift that allows me to get as much done in a day that I need to.

But, the iPhone and smart phones aren’t cheap. And with a new version coming out every year or two, it’s not easy or practical to upgrade each time there’s a new one. It can suck to be on an older Apple iPhone, but only because it seems like they get slower and slower; especially when a new numbered phone comes out.

Yeah, it was so frustrating that about the exact time a new iPhone was released, our older phone seemed to slow to a crawl. And a slow iPhone that doesn’t do things when you want it done is frustrating as heeeeck, right?

Well, it wasn’t all in our brains, and Apple has admitted to this being a real thing. People got MAAADDDD and now they’re trying to make it right.
