It’s hard to believe but the holiday season is quickly approaching. Now that Halloween is over and done with the Christmas commercials have already started playing on the TV and radio and I’ve even heard a person or two humming Christmas carols! Heck, I’ve even started shopping for new holiday decor because I know just how quickly the time goes and before we know it Thanksgiving will be done and it will be December!
So many of us look forward to the holiday season, but perhaps no one does more than our children. There’s something so magical about seeing the holiday season through a child’s eyes that makes you want to do everything in your power to make it as magical as you possibly can.
For one family in Maine that means celebrating Christmas early, as there’s no guarantee their 9-year-old son will live long enough to see December 25th.
