Doctor From ‘My 600-Lb Life’ Accused Of Causing Deforming Patient Explosive Lawsuit

Uh oh.

There are some shows on TV that do a great job allowing you to get a look into how other people live. We have a huge amount of reality type TV shows on air right now and some of them seem to really do well. We’ve got the Kardashians who have made themselves into arguably the most famous American family. There are the people who get famous of reality TV competition shows like Kelly Clarkson and American Idol. And there are people who are interesting to watch because their lives are so different than our own — like the Sister Wives TV shows or My 600-Lb Life which follows people on a journey to lose weight with the help of Dr. Nowzaradan. TLC is one of those networks that does a great job giving us this type of lifestyle peek and the network has done well for itself doing so.

One of the famous people off these type of shows is Dr. Nowzaradan. He is not one of those faces that you would notice on the street and scream for a photo. But, if you’ve watch the show, or you’re someone who has struggled with your weight, he’s a name that you would have come across. The show My 600-Lb Life features a new person who is looking into weight loss surgery to save your life. It follows each patient for about a year — some of the earlier shows follow them for longer. But one constant is Dr. Nowzaradan.

And now Dr. Nowzaradan is in the news because he’s in some trouble with patients opening lawsuits over his practice and care.
